Manufactured From Engineered Laminated Timber
A window or door is subjected to the elements on the exterior along with the heat of a centrally heated house on the indoors. This huge variation in environmental conditions on either side of a solid piece of timber will trigger it to bend and twist.

To overcome this all Paxtons timber windows and doors are manufactured using Engineered timber sections. By cross-laminating layers of timber together, changing the direction of the grain, the finished component piece is stronger and more importantly, becomes incredibly stable. In addition to stability improvement, all defects are removed from the engineered components eliminating problems associated with knots and splits.

Fully Factory Finished Ready For Installation
All Paxtons timber windows and doors  are supplied fully finished using modern paints and stains manufactured by Teknos,  one of Europe’s leading suppliers of water based coatings and treatments for the woodworking industry.

We offer both translucent and opaque top coats which are available in an almost unlimited colour range. This flexible, micro porous system resists cracking, flaking, improves appearance  and significantly reduces maintenance – an essential consideration when lifetime cost is increasingly important.

Paint finishes
All of our windows and doors are available in a choice of colours and finishes. We offer a standard paint range of twelve colours plus RAL colour matching. A wide choice of stained finishes are available.
